Drinking and Dancing

It's the last night of April and I am having some serious fun! After the park me and Genevieve went to the Blue Velvet. It's early in the morning now. There isn't much of a crowd anymore, but I am still enjoying myself finishing up a nice cold beer.

The night went pretty good. Me and Genevieve had a few drinks and danced together. We even hugged! Yes, it gave me another warm fuzzy feeling inside. It’s been a while since I last had a gal close to me like this.

Afterwards, I left Genevieve to chat with Stephon, who was already here before us, and a bunch of folks and went to the bar. I recognized a few familiar faces, but the one that stood out the most was Bella, the Gal who Stephon tried to pick up. I was talking with her for a bit and a got to know a little more about her. Bella is married, so I guess that’s why she totally blew Stephon off at the Oasis a while back.

Eventually, Genevieve joined me at the bar for some drinks, she was pretty loaded. We were yelling and laughing at each other from across the room. I was pretty loaded too, so it was pretty fun playing the yelling match!

After Genevieve left, I went out for some fresh air and admired the surroundings in my drunken state of mind. I went in for another drink and chatted with Stephon afterwards. Now, I just finished my drunken dancing and am about to head home after this beer. I know I am going to be in trouble tomorrow, I skipped work. Oh well, good times!

An Evening at the Park with Genevieve

I am just at the park with Genevieve right now, we did go for a walk after all and ended up here! We are having such a great time. We wandered around the park, talked, and even played a game of chess in which she defeated me badly. I am glad I skipped work today!

We met this girl named  Cassandra tonight. She was also laughing at me on how bad I was losing at chess to Genevieve. Good times!

Genevieve Came Over!

I was supposed to go to the park today, but then I heard somebody knocking on my door. I go to answer it and there is Genevieve! What a surprise, she came over to my place on her own. I really think she does like me.

We are having a good time together right now. We talked and laughed all evening. We are really getting close, and I think I am kinda falling for her too. Genevieve is such a great gal, she even took my garbage out for me!

I made an attempt to cook dinner for us this evening, but the fish I made didn’t turn out to well. Both me and Genevieve gagged, but we got some good chuckles over it. She said next time leave it up to her to cook, hehe.

We are just chilling on my couch right now. I am thinking if I should ask her if she wants to go for walk with me.

Skipping Work Today!

Well, it's the last day of April. So, I am gonna skip work today and have some fun! Why not? I already went out and bought some new jeans and a new sweater. I think I am going to go to the park today and enjoy some fresh air and maybe do a bit of jogging.

A Couple of Lonely Hearts

Well, it’s a time of loneliness for me… So, I went to the Solar Flare to rid that emptiness with a nice hard glass of whisky! I tell ya, there is no loneliness when you got a nice amount of whisky in ya, hehe!

I guess I am not the only one who who’s feeling lonely. Genevieve came by for some drinks too, and she was telling me that she’s also feeling a bit lonely. We chuckled amongst each other as we shot back the booze.

The night was going pretty good. I actually spent a lot of the time talking with Genevieve. We even ended up taking a nice drunken photo together for the memories, hehe! She’s a cute gal, and we have been spending quite a bit of time together. Maybe I will skip work and ask her if she wants to do something together tomorrow.

I also met this Ross guy. He was telling me that he was new to the town, and that he stopped by to try and meet some new folks. He seems like a pretty decent fellow, much better than that Spencer guy I met a couple of nights ago.

Afterwords, I just began to breeze off the night by talking with, Robin, a familiar bartender I always see around. She also seems like a nice gal, very happy and outgoing. She was telling me that she loves her job, I guess she has been doing it for years.

Lastly, I ended the night by enjoying a huge plate of chips and this new Sea Splash drink, it had some kick to it and the chips were pretty tasty too. Simply but, the Solar Flare has good stuff!

Wasting Food...

I know I had this conversation many times when I was growing up... My grandmother and parents always got on my case for wasting food. Look at me today, I just got home from work and realized I left some burgers that I was going to cook a few days ago on the deck. I tell ya, it's a crime to waste such delicious food.

Baxter and My New Coffee Table

What a good start to a Friday! I got up and went out to buy a new coffee table today. I also came up with a name for my pet frog I found a while ago. His name is Baxter!

Live Performance at the Blue Velvet

My live performance went pretty well I must say. People seemed to enjoy it. It was a fairly small crowd here tonight, it wasn't as packed as the Arid Ridge. The crowd only starting coming around the same time I arrived. Now, I am just sitting by a fountain outside of the club enjoying my buzz! I didn't even know they had a fountain out back until now.

The night still goes on! Genevieve and I are just rocking it up and drinking together. Fun time! I'm gonna be heading over to the Blue Velvet pretty soon. I booked a live piano performance to do there tonight. It's a good thing I got all these drinks me!
